Random headcanon for the Utena movie

mikogalateaJust felt like offloading this somewhere. It's mostly pre-movie, so spoilers apply.

*Nanami exists in the movieverse, and I do mean as a human and not as a cow. She and Touga were seperated when he was sold, so she still lives with their birth parents. Either way, she's not a student at Ohtori.
*I'm inclined to think of the "Nanami Cow" video as a cartoon; IIRC, it was even described as such in the early draft of the movie script that was translated at IRG. It's just that it's not so obvious as a cartoon because the movie itself is animated. ^^;
*Juri had been a previous victor of the duelling game before Saionji, and so has slept with Anthy before. She didn't enjoy that, though, and went through the act wishing that it were Shiori in Anthy's place. (I also think something similar for the movie-manga version, except instead of Shiori-related angst, movie-manga!Juri would instead be filled with self-loathing, and so that would fuel her hatred of the Rose Bride all the more.)
*Juri was actually rather traditionally feminine as a kid, but after Touga died, she took up fencing and other "princely" pursuits with the idea that if she became stronger, no one else would ever have to die for her again.
*Shiori was more in love with the idea of Touga than with the guy himself, and didn't really know him that well when he was alive. I get the feeling they only spoke a few times, if even that, and Shiori made him a bit uncomfortable by being a little too interested in his beautiful long hair (although he wouldn't have shown that discomfort).
*Touga was one hell of a Stepford Smiler as a kid.
