Just three eps to go! When I think of it that way, it feels like almost nothing, but at least I know I could blow through the whole series fairly quickly if I wanted to watch it all again from the beginning.

So that's brought us to the halfway point -- or one could say just beyond that, considering there's 11 eps in total. For me that means I'm halfway through both this and YKA, so it really is about time I got around to making myself finish YKA. >>;

One day I might actually use a Sarazanmai icon to talk about Sarazanmai with! I've been trying to represent more canons I like in my lineup since the number of default slots was increased for paying users; this includes some pretty obscure ones, naturally, with the one I'm using on this very post being a prime case in point. (That's Lena from the light novel 86, by the way. 86 is really good.) If Sarazanmai keeps being as good as it's been, I don't see why it shouldn't eventually get its turn. :3

( This actually has more to do with Utena fandom, but was inspired by Sarazanmai, as you'll see )

I actually enjoyed it, more than I thought I would. I feel like by rights I should've been icked right out by key parts of it, especially considering my misgivings about Ikuhara, but for now I'm on this ridiculous ride. I'm hesitant to admit it, but you win this round, Ikuni. >>;
Also, have a little attempt at a Smart Person observation that I made while watching below the cut!

Now I'm pretty much obliged to finally start Yuri Kuma Arashi and give it at least a bit of a chance...
