FE3H Ship Preferences

My list of ships for Fire Emblem: Three Houses on my big fandom list has gotten so unwieldy that I've decided it needs its own post!

I'm doing this by character, going through all the students of each house before finishing off with ships that don't involve any students. Ships I have particularly strong feelings about will be in italics.

If I don't list a given ship at all, it's generally safe to assume I'm neutral on it. Also, if I list Byleth or Shez without specifying a gender, it's generally safe to assume that I don't mind either way for the ship in question.

Please note that this is a work in progress! So far I've completed the Crimson Flower, Azure Moon and Verdant Wind routes, plus Cindered Shadows, and I intend to do Silver Snow and have a second run through CF at a later date; as such, I expect to update this list as I see more supports and complete chains that I'd previously not finished.

Now that Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is a thing, I'll be adding characters and ships from that game as well as I go through it. I've currently cleared Scarlet Blaze as my first route, and I'm aiming to do Azure Gleam next and Golden Wildfire third.

I paired Ashe with Catherine in my last game, and I got no romantic vibes from them. I like their supports getting to the root of what happened with Christophe and Lonato, but their romantic ending seemed to come out of nowhere.

Yeah, I saw all their supports and they're good from a story/character standpoint, but they really shouldn't have lead to a romance. If anything, I think their paired ending cheapens their chain, so I'd rather avoid it completely on any subsequent playthrough where I have both characters. =/

(That's a fabulous icon, by the way. We were totally robbed of an A-rank between those two! Imagine what kind of noble power couple we could've had!)

I'm good with pairings that don't scream romance in the support chains but still get married in their endings, but Ashe and Catherine just didn't have that kind of chemistry.

(I know! Ferdiebert may have presents and blushing, but Ferdie/Lorenz has amazing chemistry right out of the gate.)
