One of the perks that can be unlocked in the main game by playing Cindered Shadows is that you can spend renown to guarantee specific paired endings? Awesome! That means I'm free to watch every A-rank I get without worrying that I won't get the couples I want!

... except in practice, I've just found that it apparently costs 10,000 renown a pop to tie characters' fates together. So much for that! >>;

I've jumped back to my Azure Moon run for the time being. I'm on the final chapter of CS, but it looks hard as nails (to the point where I wonder if I can even beat it at my characters' levels!) so I'm taking a break. Besides, completing as much of the sidestory as I already have has unlocked everything in the main story I want from it; it's just a shame I've still got so much of AM to slog through before I can start my Golden Deer run and bring all the Wolves into that.
