A little speculation about Yuri Tokikago

mikogalateaAnother one I'm rescuing from a draft -- the only other one, actually. This is a theory I ended up having about the "secret of Yuri's body" while I was rewatching Penguindrum around 4 or 5 years ago.

The idea I got was that Yuri doesn't have a uterus.
If I remember the episode correctly (I'm afraid the notes I had in the draft were pretty rough) her father said that her mother got "uglier and uglier" after giving birth to her, and that he didn't want her being any more like the mother.
Perhaps the bastard wanted to make it so Yuri couldn't possibly give birth, and so he cut out her uterus, leaving her with a scar on her belly that we never get to see.
It's just one idea as to what her "body's secret" is; I'm not pushing this as The Correct Canon Answer or anything.
