I have a remastered DVD boxset that's been sitting around unwatched for several years, and the whole show's available on Crunchyroll too, so there's my options if I do pick Wing as the next Gundam I (re)watch after Witch.

Rewatching it now would definitely be an interesting experience. Not only might I have different tastes in characters now compared to when I was in my early teens (though something tells me I'll still like Duo at least a bit), but I won't be saddled by any shitty opinions the fandumb used to like throwing around this time. I especially owe Relena an apology for being dragged along by how many haters she used to have!

I wonder if spotty access to the canon had any impact on the rampant fandumb and its mischaracterisation and whatnot back then? Apart from when it was running on Toonami/CW, the show was on either 10 DVDs or (IIRC) 16 VHS tapes, which would've been bloody expensive for any young fan, and getting hold of it unofficially would've been hell in the days of dialup and fansub tapes...
