Remember what I said last time about Kazuki being kind of terrible? The show knows it, and my God does Kazuki himself know it more than anyone, that poor self-hating mess of a kid. D: I really have to hand it to his seiyuu near the end of the ep.
Also this week, we see a big break in the established pattern for kappa battles to give Kazuki's issues that much more impact, and we have a touch of drama between Reo and Mabu. I hope they get to be the focus of the next episode; Sarazanmai's been pretty good about following up on its end-of-episode twists so far, so maybe they will.
On a lighter note, Sara going sarasarasara when she sneaks off in her kappa form is hilariously adorable.

One day I might actually use a Sarazanmai icon to talk about Sarazanmai with! I've been trying to represent more canons I like in my lineup since the number of default slots was increased for paying users; this includes some pretty obscure ones, naturally, with the one I'm using on this very post being a prime case in point. (That's Lena from the light novel 86, by the way. 86 is really good.) If Sarazanmai keeps being as good as it's been, I don't see why it shouldn't eventually get its turn. :3
