I've killed so many of my favourite characters over the course of this run. Ferdie, Lysithea, Linny, and now Dorothea as well. ;.;

I'll be up against Edelgard herself at the very end, too, plus even at the end of this current battle I've got to take out Hubert. D: I might leave Petra be if she doesn't suddenly move and go after my units, though. If she stays where she is, I don't see the point of going out of my way to kill her. It'll be nice if it does work out like that...

I'm glad I'll be pulling Linny, Ferdie and Dorothea into the Deer when I start that playthrough.

Petra does move, but I've managed to get through the map without fighting or killing her. It's mostly about keeping an eye on her range and staying out of it, and thankfully she's not mounted.

She certainly did start moving once I was baiting/attacking enemies in the last bit where Hubert was. Luckily, I had Ingrid in range to kill that one chick with Bolting in the next turn and then take out Hubert in the turn after that, so she didn't get to pose any headaches or heartache.

Congratulations, Petra -- you're the one Eagle besides Caspar who got to live on this run. I'm still so sorry about your girlfriend. =/

Phew, glad to hear it. This is why Falcoknights are lifesavers. (Ingrid took Petra out of the way at Gronder for me.)

Ingrid's been one of my best units in AM. Super mobile, super fast, very accurate, practically immune to magic, dodges like a pro... her one flaw is her shaky attack growths, but she's still a fantastic asset against mages. With decent levels and another unit using Stride on her, she turned Felix's paralogue into a joke as well -- and now I'm wondering if I can use a similar strategy to get rid of a certain very troublesome warlock on the final map. Either way, I'm pulling her into the Deer too.

I always give her killer weapons once she can use them, she's good at getting criticals. And she was invaluable on Constance and Yuri's paralogue.

(The guy with the Bohr X spell? I just avoided him like the plague and moved everyone along the opposite side of the map. Sure would be nice to kill him for once, though.)

I keep forgetting about killer weapons in this game for some reason. I think I gave Ferdie one for a short time in my CF run to help him catch up when he fell a bit behind my other units, and Byleth with a killing edge was invaluable as part of my strategy against CS's final boss, but the rest of the time I barely remember that those weapons even exist! Still, I should consider slapping one or two on to Ignatz on my Deer run, and considering Ingrid gets a decent number of crits even with more regular weapons, I don't doubt she gets solid mileage out of them.

Yeah, that's the one. I was able to take him out with Ashe (bow knights are another lifesaver thanks to their humongous attack range) but the poor boy only just managed to survive the following attack from the guy on the ballista thanks to Sylvain throwing a Physic spell at him. It's risky, but it's worth doing because it makes all the other Those Who Slither enemies leave.

I always graduate to Silver or Brave weapons later on, but killer ones are still pretty invaluable. Especially Killer Knuckles, Balthus absolutely destroys everything with his.

Oh, that's good! Usually long range bow attacks aren't too accurate, but when they hit, they're the best. (Sylvain learned Physic? :3 Nice. If I ever give him magic it's Reason so he can be a Dark Knight.)

I'm gonna try getting rid of Mr. Bohr this time myself, just to get rid of the mages. Constance has Bolting and that's usually pretty accurate, and I plan on bringing Ashe as well.

Haha, and there's me sticking with iron weapons all the way through even when I do start giving people silvers! I like having lots of uses and being able to double easily (or at least not get doubled), plus it's good to have different types and grades of weapon in order to handle different situations.

Ashe has great accuracy and mine still carries a forged iron bow, so he had no trouble hitting and killing Myson. (My Sylvain's a dark knight too; I raised his faith as well as his reason because Physic and Seraphim are both great spells to have. He isn't that good at healing, but it's still handy in a pinch, like it was in this case.)
