I ship her with Dimitri most of all! I didn't expect much from them at first, but their B-rank and onwards were so beautiful. Her trying to give him advice on coping with grief, her feeling bad that she might've been overstepping with said advice, his feeling bad that he lied about being able to taste her food, his wanting to be able to taste again and truly enjoy her attempts at cooking, her admitting she's scared of sleeping and his promising he'd never forget her... it all tugs on my heartstrings. ;.; This ship needs more love, and if I hadn't already had plans for my AM pairs I would've really considered letting them hook up.

Also, while it's not a romantic ship, I've got to give a special mention to her and Manuela. Their supports gives such good insight into them both, especially Manuela, and their A-rank was so sweet! One thing I particularly liked was Flayn not thinking any less of Manuela even after the latter shared the more sordid details of her past.

I read the transcript for those supports and they were really sweet. I plan to pair them in a future AM run. :3 And I love how it directly deals with Dimitri's broken taste buds. Ageusia is something I've never directly encountered in fiction before, and it's interesting how the game handles it in having Dimitri associate food with memories or textures.

Dorothea is far and away my favourite love interest for her! I remember being so pleasantly surprised when I first heard they had an explicitly romantic ending together, and to that end, I like that their supports hint at things going in a romantic direction from the start; even the end of just the C-rank had Petra saying to herself that Dorothea "filled her heart full". Their A-rank was adorable as well, and they also have some nice little moments in CF's main story script. I feel like Petra is someone who helps Dorothea stay grounded even when she's saddened by all the suffering that war brings.

Dorothea is a superb love for Petra! Their chemistry is so rich and good.
