the best approach

Made it to the beginning of SB Chapter 8 in Hopes, and I have a couple of quick questions before I start tackling any maps.

Firstly, I won't screw myself out of anything if I do all the side missions before the main story battle, right?

Secondly, can I do all the side missions? Do I get locked into approaching from only one side or the other, or is it meant to be like a pincer approach in the first place?

Whatever the case may be with the side missions, I'm totally looking forward to doing the Ferdie+Coco+Lorenz paralogue later! It sounds so much fun even just in concept. Oooooohohohohoho!

Nope, not one bit. I do all the side missions first myself and it's a big help.

You can do them all!

I love that these three have a paralogue. :3 So many 3H fans wanted them to all interact, and it is gooood.

I've always done all the side missions before myself, and I don't see why not. More grinding opportunities, more rewards, more strategy resources, and I honestly don't even care about extra renown. I just wanted to double-check that there wouldn't be a catch to doing so this time, as the side missions are laid out pretty differently compared to previous chapters and the characters had been talking about ways to approach Arianrhod in the last cutscene or two; now I know there isn't a catch, I feel free to go about business as usual!

I was happy enough to see Coco and Lorenz get support convos in the first place, so having them and Ferdie all share a paralogue together is both a very pleasant surprise and delicious icing on the cake! :3
