I've literally just started playing, and I've spent most of my first couple of hours wandering around and catching a bunch of Pokémon before the first Centre, but I'm having fun already. :3

I chose Fuecoco as my starter, by the way.

I'm working on my second Gym Badge. :D It's so weird not having a linear path to follow, even Legends's open world had an order for fighting the Lord Pokemon. It's overwhelming, but at the same time it's SO nice not having things blocked off and being able to go at my own pace.

As a huge fan of Breath of the Wild, I love the freedom that open worlds offer, and one of my favourite parts of Legends was exploring each new location and coming back to them when I had more ways to get around. That said, now I've started the "treasure hunt" in earnest, I can't make my mind up whether I want to go clockwise or anticlockwise doing all the things... in the meantime I've just been catching loads of Pokémon!
