One of the beautiful things about Pokémon, particularly in the more recent generations, is that you can do cute things and make friends with all kinds of Pokémon -- not matter how cute or creepy, or how fluffy or badass. I can just as easily take my cool and creepy snail of doom for a walk around as any of my adorable doggy critters, just as an example. :3

As far as my progress with Violet goes, I've now completed the Titan and Star storylines (both of which I enjoyed a lot) and have been breaking things up by finally going to school and hunting down yet more stakes before I take on the Elite Four.

The final part of the Titan storyline nearly broke my heart! I was so afraid the doggy wouldn't make it, but then the ball rolled off the table and he grabbed it.

And I was so glad Star had a happy ending. Penny knew she messed up and she just wanted to set things right without putting her friends in more danger! :c

I finally found all 8 purple stakes. :3 I pulled one up and the game told me a cry came from the purple shrine.

Arven's Mabosstiff getting better was the most important thing to me in this game. I would've been so upset if he didn't. ;.;

I'm glad Team Star got a happy ending, too. That storyline grew to be almost as heartwarming as Arven's ("almost" because I'm just that weak to helping doggies) and I found myself really liking all the bosses and how close they were with one another. Eri's my favourite, and the bit with the whole team meeting with Penny gave me the feels.

Ooh, that's Wo-Chien's shrine! Now you can fight and catch the creepy snail of doom for yourself. :3 Be sure to talk to Raifort when you catch it and each of the other Ruin legendaries, too.

I've unlocked the greenish shrine too, but haven't successfully caught Ting-Lu from there yet. As of right now I've got three more yellow stakes and three or four more blue stakes left to find... as much as I've enjoyed looking for them this whole time, it gets a bit frustrating when I keep coming up short and lose track of where I have and haven't been in this enormous world!

SAME. I had a feeling the game wouldn't go there but that whole scene before the doggie woke up...

All the Team Star flashbacks immediately made me wanna know more. The bases were difficult to reach, but they were so worth it and I loved all the bread crumbs we got along the way!

Yep! I got it, and I'm gonna start hunting for the yellow stakes next.

(I did talk to Raifort, but she didn't have any new dialogue.)

Good luck with the continued stake hunting! The last few yellow ones keep eluding me, alas; I feel like I've combed over the likely places several times now, and I can't shake the sense that I might be overlooking something relatively obvious. >>;

(That's a bit odd. When I spoke to her after catching Wo-Chien, she got excited and curious about what might've been written on its tablets. Did you finish all her classes and do all her friendship events she has available? Because if you're at the point where she marked the shrine locations on the map, I think she should react to the ones you catch.)
