In less bitchy news, my poking at my SS run in Houses continues. It took me a hilariously long time to clear a simple side map as I got myself used to the basic gameplay again! ^^; It does help that I'm still early in the game and I've got NG+ perks on this file, so I've got more leeway while I'm this rusty.

Now I've finally moved off the battle selection menu for the first time in two years, I've gotten a bunch of supports both old and new. It's been a while since I last did support reports!

Let's see how much more I play of this run!

Before I jump back into Hopes for Azure Gleam, I'm having a little poke at Houses again. Can't believe my Silver Snow run has been stalled for about two years now... I might at least finish Chapter 3 before moving on, but I think first I'd have to brush up on the free battles so I can remember How To Strategy. ^^;

For now I'm just revisiting some old support conversations in the support log -- starting with a few of Ashe's, as it's been so long and I'm not picking him up in Houses again until the next run, whenever that'll ever happen. (That next run would be a second go through Crimson Flower, by the way. Not sure if I already said it before, but hey.)

I'd forgotten just how sweet the entire Ashe/Dedue chain was. Their A-rank especially is beautiful. ;.;

Rewatched Ashe/Marianne and what I got of Ashe/Petra as well. The latter is pretty cute, and I'm a bit sad I didn't get to finish it in my CF run. I'll definitely get that A+ next time.

Note to self: definitely also rewatch Yuri/Bernadetta C and Constance/Mercedes C, as they both showed lots of promise and I think I was even on the verge of already unlocking Coco/Mercie B in the current playthrough. Okay, rewatched those C-ranks now.

I've seen I was about to unlock Ignatz/Mercedes C, too, which I was looking forward to two years ago and still look forward to now. In the first place, getting a bunch of nice supports I hadn't seen before was one of the motivations I had to get through this route despite not looking forward to it at all...

Route clear at last!! \o/

Just making short notes to myself about what I really need to make icons of once I finish Scarlet Blaze and transfer all my Hopes screencaps over:

I'm still on Chapter 13, but I think that means I'm on the route's home stretch now, or at least heading towards it. Just making a final push towards finishing supports in the process of grinding levels, and hopefully it won't be too much longer now! Still think it might be August by the time I clear the route, though, slowcoach that I am!

Aiming to finish SB Chapter 12 today tomorrow, heatwave be damned. Just need to finish another paralogue and spend all my activity/training points beforehand.

Hopefully I can start picking up the pace a bit playing the rest of the route, now there's getting to be less grinding for supports outside of a few characters.

Finally about to do the main story battle in SB Chapter 8, and it's another one that's making me a bit nervous just looking at the initial map before actually starting. Mind you, a lot of levels throughout the franchise (and in a bunch of other games for that matter) look intimidating at first but then turn out to be not so terrible to actually do, so I'll see how it goes.

In the meantime, there's a couple of supports that are bugging me right now.

Damn, I'm being really slow at getting through Three Hopes. To be fair, it's partly because RL things have been kicking me right where it hurts lately, but even so... =/

Anyway, I'm currently looking at the main story battle for SB Chapter 7 (but haven't started the actual fight yet) and I'm more than a bit scared.

Currently on Chapter 5 of Scarlet Blaze, after having just done the second short battle. I want to play this game as blind as I can, but a couple of mechanics have come up that are making me a little nervous about later chapters...

I'll be hitting up that demo for sure, if I can make enough space for it yep, made space with just a bit of shuffling things around. Heads up, people: the download is about 7.7GB, so it takes up a lot of room.

And just a day ago I'd gone looking to see if there'd been any new FE news lately, for the first time in a while (which I guess is what happens when Heroes stuff isn't relevant to my interests)... why did no one tell me earlier that Mercie's new design got revealed ahead of the intended time and she looks utterly adorable?! Wavy shoulder-length hair suits her so well. ♥

I wonder if all the house members will appear in this game with new designs? It's sure looking that way to me; if so, I really want to see what everyone else looks like!
